Television: In addition to basic TV viewing, today's viewers expect the following: TiVo-like record/playback features to time-shift their viewing, fast-forward through commercials, instant replay, and pause live-TV Other choices for TV owners include pay-per-view premium TV programming; Video-on-demand; and high definition television. TVs are now being placed in any room, either for entertainment reasons, or for information/educational reasons. Remember in placing TVs, there needs to be flexibility to reconfigure furniture and TV locations for the future.
Audio Distribution: Whole house audio systems are for entertaining or for simple background music rather than having a separate audio system in each room. A central entertainment system provides the ability to select any type of program material for playback in a single room, multiple rooms, or throughout the entire house.
