Home computers are connected to the Internet over high-speed connections (broadband connections exceed dial-up connections), and to each other over home data networks. There is every indication that the proliferation of home computers and Internet usage will continue to grow for the foreseeable future and consumers need to plan their homes and offices to handle this continued growth and usage.
